You know, I think my thirst for truth led me straight to Jesus.
I have seen the illusions of Hollywood, the delusions of the
media and the fountain of His truth spilling and splashing
from His word ! I have always felt so "set free" since
becoming Born Again. He is the way the truth and the life,
no one comes to the Father except by Him - my paraphrase
of John 14:6. Don't you just love it when Jesus speaks ?
Don't you just cling to those red letters in your Bible ?
Jesus offers the way into sin canceling salvation, into
eternal life and the relationship of all relationships - Born
Again-ness ! How Great is our God ? All He asks is
that we believe.
"Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?
The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own
authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
Believe Me that I an in the Father and the Father in Me, or else
believe Me for the sake of the works themselves." John 14:10-11
When you see the word B E L I E V E this Christmas, know
how important it is to Jesus that you Believe Him. He's the
only reason CHRISTmas exists. He's the Reason for the Season !
Thirsty for truth in this deceptive atmosphere here on planet earth ?
Seek the Fountain of Truth, the ever so satisfying truth awaiting
to quench your thirst as you drink deeply from His powerful word.
Open your Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to lead you along and read
until He speaks to your heart - drink deeply and see that He is good !
I give thanks for the Fountain of Truth and plan to seek it always
especially in this truth starved time of media manipulations and
twisted tails of sad stories and endless corruption.
Think the cure for corruption is teaching incorruptibility-
Incorruptibility starts with truth seeking, truth recognition,
truth telling and truth sharing, doesn't it ? ? ? ? ? What do
we have without truth ? Godless corruption and everyone doing
what is right in his or her own eyes AND the opportunity to
turn hearts toward His, for revival, survival and gospel spreading,
right ? It's not about us. It's all about Him. Let's fight corruption
by learning 'incorrupt - abilities' set forth in His word ! Fight on !
He's not surprised by our current condition - why should we be ?
He's awaiting our askings for guidance and direction - may we
always remember to ask, seek and knock !!!! We've got a
great commission to be about, don't we ? I'm after the
Fountain of Truth !
