Stable Background

Believers come from a stable background !  Luke 2:7 tells us "And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and
wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Our pastor's wife once said, "The Lord likes to put the glory in the unexpected."  This definitely describes
the birth of the Son of God, the King of Kings coming to earth in the form of an infant born in a stable
and placed in a manger because all the inns of Bethlehem were completely full.  May we identify in humble faith with His example of humanity.  He chose to be born one of us, be born among us and
our animals without headlines and fanfare, just a silent night on earth where angels sang and shepherds
marveled at the birth of Christ.  He did not choose to be born in an old castle then or in our time when news cameras and photographers could capture the event.  He chose everything and us.  JESus.
Jesus.   Jesus.  Happy Birthday Lord of Lords and Kings of Kings.  We love You !
