Jesus, is coming again. Is your name in the Book of Life? How do you know?

Revelation is such a blessing.  Studying this book brings blessing, light, love and grows faith, awe and wonder.  We see Jesus through John's time on Patmos.  Our Jesus is no weakling.  He is awesome in power.
Revelation 19:11-16  Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse.  And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.  His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns.  He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.  He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.  And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.  Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that with it He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.  He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty God.  And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:  KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

He is sovereign and Lord over all.  He was and is and is coming again.

I wanted to be sure my name was written in the Lamb's Book of Life spoken of in Chapter 20.  There is only one qualification to have your name written in the Book of Life.  Salvation.  We must be saved.
How does salvation happen?  By confessing Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and living my life for Him.  It's not enough to just call Jesus Lord.  He says many will call Me Lord, and He will say I never knew them, Matthew 7:22-23.  We must surrender our lives to Him and truly make Him our Lord.

If you haven't done this, now would be the perfect time to ask Him to save you and to be Lord of your life. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead.  Give Him your life.  Then you will know that your name is written in the Book of Life. You will be saved, once and for always.

Don't wait.  Begin a new life in Christ today while there is still time.

Father I pray in Jesus name that everyone who seeks You, will come to You in full surrender, in total belief that You are who You say You are, and that You say who You are in Your word, the Bible.  That one of Jesus' many names is The Word of God. That our Bibles are Your word, the Living Word. That we all sin and fall short of Your glory. You gave us Your son Jesus, to become one of us and
show us Yourself.  He is the express image of You. He is justice. He is light. He is peace. He is God.
He was crucified, died and rose again from the dead, resurrected. There is none like Him. All You ask
is that we believe, give our lives to You for Your highest and our best. Thanks for the REALITY OF
SALVATION. Surely hell is also real. Surely some will choose hell instead of You. Thank You for
CHOICE. May all choose wisely.
Oh God, thank You for saving me in 1965.  I have never known a day without You.  I have seen how much You love everyone and want NONE to perish.  There is no one like You.  I love You Father God. Thank You for those who will choose You this very day, those whose names will be written with my name in the Lamb's Book of Life.  Amen.
