We're NOT at the mercy of the universe.

We don't worship the universe. We worship it's Creator. Our God is mercy. Our God is all mighty. Our God is not blind, but sees all.  Our God is the God-Who-Sees, El Roi described in Genesis 16:13.  Our God is all mighty, El Shaddai. The very names of God explain His character and are worthy of worship and ponderings.

I am able to "think futile thoughts" all too often.  I begin to feel like things are futile when I spend too much time "in my mind" mentalizing everything.  "Mentalizing"is my new word for "over thinking."

God of all Grace, Creator of all, Builder of every universe, Inventor of time and yet alive outside of time we come to You today asking for a reorder of our mentalizing! We seek never to over think, but always to hand over our thinking to You our King. Be King of our thoughts today. Rule over every thought and idea. Reign and Rain Your perfect wisdom and knowledge into our minds, setting us free to let go of mentalizing and let You implant us with Your higher and better ideas! Thank You for free thinking, free to do thinKING. I want to do thinKING, thinking of our KING always first, last and always. King thinking is the best, highest and broadest. Best of all, Your thoughts toward us are too numerous to count. We love and worship You, King God!  In the matchless name of Jesus our King. Amen.
