IT'S SENSELESS TO BE DEFENSELESS. IT'S OFFENSIVE TO BE DEFENSIVE.

Sometimes we can see reasons why God might have done this or that, like why He chose Psalm 118:8 to be the very Center Verse of the Bible.  The very central message of scripture, Trust God, Not Man.
And the very next verse, warning us not to trust in governments. Trust, faith and expectations are orders from the KING, that we be found looKING, asKING and seeKING His heart all along our way everyday.

Psalm 118:8
It is better to put your trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in man.
Psalm 118:9
It is better to trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in princes.

Psalm 62:5-6
My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved.

God of all Grace, of unshakeable faith, Mover and Maker of mountains, Restorer of the breach, Reconciler, Redeemer, the One who is, was and is coming again, form our prayer. Help us place our trust and confidence, always, properly, in You. We are so prideful when we trust in ourselves and enact our own ideas, before first coming to You, listening and waiting for Your higher and better plans and ideas. Sometimes we certainly forget WHO YOU ARE, and WHO WE ARE TO YOU.

You tell us in Your word that You are our defense. Cause us to believe this to the point we are never pushed to self defensive speeches.  Either we believe, "HE IS MY DEFENSE" or we don't.

Help us to REQUIRE YOUR EXPECTATIONS and to DIE TO OUR OWN SELFISH EXPECTATIONS that are definitely NOT FROM YOU. Clear away selfish, confused, self-motivated thoughts and PRAYERS. We want to wield the gifts You yield, such as truth, compassion and love.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our senseless, self defensive, offensive speeches. Cause forgiveness to replace those empty self-defensive words.

Allow us to know the joy and greatness of salvation today. Thanks that You are unshakeable, and that IN You we remain steady, defended, unshakeable and loved. Cause us to make a difference for You every hour.

Teach us to pray and TRAIN US TO ASK YOU everything. We thank You for Your presence and hearing our askings. Help us NOT to overlook You.  We have You, our KING, TO ASK everything. We see KING in the word, ASKING. We see KING in the word SEEKING. We see KING in the word LOOKING. Help us to LOOK for Your presence. Help us to humble down and operate in the gentle strength of true humility as we mature in You. By Your grace and in the matchless name of Yeshua, we pray PEACE to Jerusalem. ThanKING You!!  Amen.
