HOW we test, will tell WHO we trust.

Job was a mature man in his seventies when God recommended him to Satan for testing. God knew Job to be righteous, blameless (not sinless), and upright. He was a man of integrity and unbreakable faith. The story of Job tells me, that even though we try to live a righteous, blameless life, testings will be allowed, and how we test will tell who we trust. The HOW and the WHO are very important.

People Closest to us can hurt us "first and worst"
When Job's painful testings became obvious to his wife, she lost perspective and burst out saying: "Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!" Job 1:9-10

Here's the How and the Who to trust during tests:
Job 13:15
Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.

Job 23:10
But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me,
I shall come forth as gold.

Job 42:2
I know that You can do everything,
And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.

God over all testings, Builder of faith, Protector of our souls, Leader, Healer, Restorer, Repairer, Reconciler and Renewer who leads us through Repentance with loving strength, we come to YOU to form and inform this prayer. God, we have all accused or been accused, attacked or had our character attacked by other believers. We are so sorry for this and dive into repenting renewal now. Would You cause us to never enter into these honor-less activities which are never from You and are always from our mutual enemy?  Would You repair all hurt feelings and return perspective to all involved?
God thank You for Job, Mrs. Job and Job's comfortless friends. You are the God of all comfort and outside of You there is no comfort at all. Cause us to DO James 1:19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Cause our anger to be slowed down and never spewed at a loved one again. Help us with this. We so can relate to Mrs. Job in this way, and we don't want to. We want to relate to Job.
God, we pray peace to Jerusalem in the all powerful name of Jesus, who was and is, and is coming again. We pray peace to our families and friends. We ask blessings for our friends and family of all Your abundance and greater and greater faith. Thank You for Your great faithfulness. Amen.

Bottom line: Test Trusting God, not Yourself and after the Test, the Best will come.
