DO NOT LOSE HEART.

9/11/14, The Devil is still on his warpath, But God is still on His throne.

2 Corinthians 4:1
Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.

2 Corinthians 4:7-9a
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, the the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…

2 Corinthians 4:16-17
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Galatians 6:6-10
Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to the flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while dong good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Maker of our hearts, Mover and Maker of every mountain, Designer of all successes and failures, we come to You to form and inform our prayer. We seek to pray as Jesus is praying, continually, with all mercy, compassion, power, love and hope. We are unwise to complain as for now, we see only dimly.
We are struck by Your available wisdom and knowledge as we seek to be of One mind and have the mind of Christ. You are so able to unify us. "We endeavor to KEEP the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" as You expressly advise in Ephesians chapter 4. Help us maintain spiritual unity during these trying times. We see that spiritual unity is partly a matter of wholeheartedness. We guard against losing pieces of our hearts. We guard against this by trusting as You command in Proverbs 3:5 that we, "trust in the LORD with all our hearts, and lean not on our own understanding" and God, it IS in You we trust.

We give You our hearts asking You to drench our minds by the loving wisdom, knowledge and power of the Holy Spirit Himself. Keep us endeavoring to keep unity within the bond of peace, without wavering. Please renew the hope of the brokenhearted who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001 and those lost in every other war. The actions recorded in Genesis have graphically made us aware of the power of evil. Revelation reveals evil's controlled demise. We see evil in human warfare and spiritual warfare which are very hard for us to separate.


We pray peace to Jerusalem and give thanks for the miracle of Israel, in the matchless name of Jesus our Messiah. Amen.
