"Faith Doers don't have time to Fear."
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us." 1 John 4:18-19 His love is perfect in power, fear canceling power, found nowhere else on earth.
Jesus models love, perfectly. People who follow His model can live in His perfect love, worry-free. When people move out of faith and into fear, we worry. We are designed this way. It's good not to fight it but to understand and do, the way out of the tormenting fear, faith. Do faith. Wholehearted faith happens when we just do it, by deciding with our whole hearts to trust and obey. There is truly no other way to be happy in Jesus. Do faith. Just do it.
Father of all Security, Raiser of kings and kingdoms, Remover of kings and kingdoms, Doer of all that is impossible, Giver of all mightiness, strength and power it is to You we come this Christmas time. We ache to please You, yet people pleasing gets in the way this time of year. Cause us to set aside daily Bible time, quiet time, praying all throughout everything and separating ourselves from the fog of noise so that we can hear Your voice. Drown out competing voices that try to divide, destroy and detour our faith walks. Please cause us not to self-torment with tortured thoughts from the past. Turn our sour thinking into sweetness, thankfulness and joyous rememberings. Teach us how to see and love others like You do. Please remove our self-induced worries and replace them with decisions to surrender, trust and obey You, the highest, holiest and most awesome Father, God. Turn our thought wars into "love lessons", "love looks" and "love modeling." Enable us to love exactly like Jesus loves. Make us doers of heavenly love, however that is done! Heaven help us! Help us do faith. We look to Jesus for all love lessons. Thank You mightily for Jesus. We pray peace to Jerusalem. Amen.
