Middle Verse of the Bible

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8

This is why I don't put faith and trust in any politician. I check their agendas, their issues, their votes or the way they live there principles. In other words, their words are not my interest. Their policy issues, the people who surround them, their written goals matter much more to me than any speech, response or off the cuff comment they may give. Men disappoint. God does not.
God lifts up candidates. People vote. God brings it all to pass His way, no matter what scheming or cheating takes place. He notices all. He notes all heart motivations. He knows who is greedy for power and who is self sacrificing for the national good. I pray Americans check with God during every election. There is always much to criticize and much to pray through. We also give thanks. I thank God for a non-politician, never having run for office, who is a self-funding, businessman, a billionaire, who does not need the job of President. He is owned by no one, but trusts God as His savior. He has withstood more negative attacks than any candidate in history as has his loyal family. The other candidate is a life long politician, owned by special interests and leaders of foreign nations. She has been found negligent, reckless and careless with our nations top secrets. She is married to an impeached, perjurer who was twice elected President of America. She is a known liar and presently under much investigation for perjury, like her husband committed. Her security clearance would not qualify her to run a preschool. It's a mystery to me, how she can still be considered a legal candidate for the top job in the nation.

May our candidates understand and believe Psalm 118:8 and change the world. Amen.
