We know the King….TV is an illusion……at best!

This quote and rendering, reminds me that what we see, read and hear may be tainted, untruthful and misleading by DESIGN. It is so important to be in the Word before we assess a candidate, a report, and especially, an ad, with out of context sound bites. These are tv driven lies, repeated and repeated, designed so the listener will turn it into a truth, believe it and act upon it. These are perilous times, but we are not without defense. Wisdom and humility, both tell us that we cannot personally know the condition of anyone's heart, faith or salvation. This goes for the status of someone we sit next to in church and especially goes for people, we only see on TV. TV gives us an illusion or grossly incomplete picture of people. God reminds me, that political candidates are people will probably, never meet, while here on earth!  His design, is for us to pray for all ceaselessly, entrusting them all to Him! We are to free ourselves from the propensity to judge their faith, or the faith of one another. We are commanded not to judge, and commanded to pray ceaselessly for one another. His opinion is the one that rules, wins and is real. Our opinions are so limited. I pray our opinions, match His! So far, our elections are by design, SECULAR, inclusive of Hindu candidates and all other types of Americans, who God raises up, as candidates. Let's be clear, our job is to choose a LEADER, not a PASTOR and pray for everyone to love God! God will show us His choices, as He always does. The person who wins and the loser, are both part of His plan for the ages. We don't know what time it is. Perhaps, we are in the last of the game, the fourth quarter, or explicitly,  perhaps we are in the end days, just before the start of the great tribulation. God only knows. We know, we have certain of His daily commands, to accomplish. So I've learned to look for the most honest candidate with the best, most conservative agenda. His supporters are important to me, and I also like to listen to and assess their reasons for supporting him. I especially pay attention to the Christian leaders and pastors who endorse someone.
My Christian American friends like to pray for the faith of everyone, the media, ourselves as voters, our candidates and for the validity of our electoral system. WE KNOW WE HAVE A KING! He's more than enough and in charge! Ephesians 3:20. He is able so I'm not worried, but I am soooo interested in what God is about to do!  It's in God we trust. Amen.
