TODAY IS HALLOWEEN....people are wearing costumes and looking for fun. I'm reminded of the monster, SWAMP THING. He's like a picture, of what we were like, when we were unsaved, "sin drenched and sin entrenched," floundering around in our sinful little swamps. Good news is, we know, no one is beyond redemption. Jesus, Lover of our Souls, is the only swamp drainer, strong enough to redeem and forgive our monster sins.
People need the LORD yet will not heed His Word. Monsters like addiction, hate, pride, jealousy, greed, lies are common to us all. Am so grateful that NO ONE is beyond redemption. Hillary Clinton calls Americans, she doesn't like, irredeemable and deplorable. I truly pray Hillary begins to realize some of the monstrous things she believes and does. I pray she reaches for Christ's redeeming hand, ready to pull her out of the swamp, and dress her in righteousness.
Father, we HALLOW YOUR NAME, THIS HALLOWEEN! God help us desire redemption and salvation for all. Prompt us to pray for those who will want to become Yours and receive forgiveness for all sin and live saved! Let us judge no one, loving like You do. According to John 3:16, You declare, You want NONE to perish, ZERO, and yet many choose death over eternal life with You. Please cause us abide in YOU, pray for all swamp things to become redeemed. Thanks for delivering us, when we were swamped with sin. We, Your redeemed, want to SAY SO, in grateful thanks, remembering how we once lived in sin ourselves. How great salvation! Please use our weaknesses to display Your strengths and that we replace the illusion of fear with the reality of faith in the LIVING WORD. Amen.
