A Little Sin Study, which is ongoing!

"WHAT WE CHOOSE TO REMEMBER, CHANGES THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE."  This is a thought, I caught, during my Bible time, which quickly became, the center thought, of today's, devotional writing. I think these "caught thoughts" are from the Holy Spirit, who is constantly helping us.
After, Israel's continual sins, failures and rejections of God, He declares, "For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jeremiah 31:34d.
The point? People sin. This is human history. We choose to do and say what is right in our own sight, thereby, designing our plight! We break with Him, and sin, in thought, in deed, in willful selfishness and pride. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.
Second point? God has NO SIN METER. He is justice, holy, righteous and the only One who delivers EQUALITY, because He is God, impartial and unconditional, wanting NONE to perish. Remember the thief, on the cross, next to Jesus? He wants none to choose hell. We are equally sinners, equally saved.
God has no part with sin. He sent us His Holy Son, who is the only One, capable of solving our sin problem. He did it. He solved the problem of sin on the cross. Jesus defeated the devil there, finishing the sin problem, once and for all, for all the, and for all of us who will simply believe Him.
Third and Final point....GOD FORGETS NOTHING AND NO ONE. GOD ALSO CHOOSES, NOT TO REMEMBER ONE THING, OUR SIN. HE IS, HOLY.
DEAR GOD,
Great and Good Father, Awesome in justice, mercy and love, we seek to be like Jesus, like You, by choosing NOT TO REMEMBER our own sins, perceived sins, and the obvious sins of others. We admit we all sin and fall short. We admit we sin, by taking and giving offense. We admit we rush to judgement. We often judge falsely, most things and most people, because we're emotional. We can't reasonably, know ourselves or them, their motivations, or thoughts, but, YOU DO. Humble us to repent and receive Your forgiveness, that we might also rush to forgiveness, instead of vengeance. How dare we tread in Your territory, by spouting opinions, that DO NOT MATCH YOURS. YOU ARE OUR FATHER. So Father, teach us to hold our tongues, to pray before formulating feelings and to research and discern "News" by the light of Your word. Increase our wisdom, by Your word, as You write it on our hearts and lives. We thank You for the equality, the unification and the impartiality, we enjoy in You, in Your heart and by spending time in and with You, in Your word. I pray this in the name of Jesus and for His sake. Amen.
