Sometimes the most "able" are tested by the fiercest fires, so that their trust is not in "self," but in "Himself." Job said, in Job 13:15: "Though He slay me, yet I will trust Him." God considered Job a blameless man, upright, who feared God and shunned evil. When Satan asked for someone to test, God suggested Job. Omnipotent God, knew Job, through and through and Job, knew God. The book of Job chronicles, God's testings, of Job. The book of Job is perhaps one of the fiercest books of faith, in the Bible. Job later said, in Job 23:10: "But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold." Then in Job 42:2, at the end of his trials, Job concluded: "I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours, can be withheld from You."
This is FAITH, in Himself, our very present God!
"He is over all we’re under, gone before it and He is with us all the same. He’s eternally able, outside of time, and yet very present, closer to us than the air we breathe. We have been given a very, fierce, eternal, faith!"
Thank You Jesus.
