Matthew 15:18-19
"Do not eat the bread of a miser, Nor desire his delicacies; For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, But his heart is not with you." Proverbs 23:6-7
"The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; who can know it? I the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings." Jeremiah 17:9-10.
Good "HEART" News, Upon Salvation God occupies the heart, He Renews, Gives new hearts and Cleanses them. Often we love well with them and often we get them dirty, give them no thought and often bring ourselves heartache. Heart Considerations are wisdom for today.
"But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it." Deuteronomy 30:14
"God gave him another heart" 1 Samuel 10:9b
"Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10
Father, You are KING of HEARTS. You are near, occupying and cleansing them through the day. We trust You to cleanse the secret parts of our hearts, that only You can see. We cannot see all the sin stained places. Lord, thank You for making a place for us in Your heart. Thank You that we can always find You when we search for you with all our heart. Help us grow in heart as we head toward celebrating St. Valentine. Help us be wholehearted. Help us hold back no part of our hearts from Your gentle, total, cleanings. We pray peace to Israel in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
