THIS MEANS WAR.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

I've never seen a time where it's more important to understand Spiritual Warfare.  21 Christians were beheaded yesterday because they were Christians.  For me and my understandings, religion is a prison. Christianity is freedom in Christ. I choose freedom. The Christians being killed right now, enter heaven, without separation from Christ. Unbelievers enter eternal separation from Christ. The Bible calls this place hell, eternal fire and torture. The war is spiritual according to God. His terms are all we need to know. Since the war is spiritual, the weapons are also spiritual. We fight from prayer assault which fills the air. The fog of war is always cut clearly through, by the prayers of the saints, whether we "see" this clearly or not. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Religion has nothing to do with our God. Christians are in relationship, a personal relationship through being born again into the family of God, through Jesus Christ. In my opinion, religion is the enemy's tool. Religion is man's reach toward God. Christianity is our sacrificial, all loving, God, ACTUALLY REACHING MAN through GIVING US HIS SON, JESUS. THIS IS RELATIONSHIP NOT RELIGION. It is the one true God the whole world can trust. He alone is God and is trustworthy. The battle is SPIRITUAL, and belongs to God, as do we. He trains and enlists us to fight battles He's already mapped out. Our fight is hand to hand combat. Battle grounds can be invisible things such as thought wars, and visible things such as vicious, murderous attacks. The Devil tries to hurt and destroy Him, by hurting and trying to destroy us, but believers are eternal. The Devil loses every time.

Father God, You sent Your Son Jesus, to break the bonds of sinful man, which He did on the cross, once and for all, for all time. Your Son died for the beheaders as well as the beheaded.  As long as the murderers have breath, there is time for them to realize the evil of their ways, seek Your forgiveness, receive it, and surrender their hearts to You. We pray this now, for every prisoner to be set physically free, and for their jailers to be set free by newly found faith in Jesus. You want none to perish.

Thanks that since You saved me, You gave me the desire to build my spiritual muscle. We see our gym, is Him! Working all things out in Christ, continues to build us as we pray, Bible study, and spread the gospel. Thank You God!

Thank You that You teach us how to wrestle, do hand to hand combat with thought wars and all the Devil sends our way. We fight by the indwelling strength of the Person of the Holy Spirit Himself. Your word equips us how to battle dress, prepare and purify our hearts and minds. We seek to spread the gospel during this evil war. Your word gives us strategies, warnings and battle plans. You, Yourself tell us, that the battle belongs to You and so do we. We know You want NONE TO PERISH. Oh Father, help us stand firm, battle dressed in Your armor, fighting with Your word from our mouths, and doing prayer assault from our knees.We know the war, the battle is a team effort. Help us be effective where You place us and to follow Your battle commands. We seek to fight no one else's war.

Please build our understandings and let us not be caught prayer-unaware. No. Please allow us to practice prayer awareness. Make us useful to the cause of Christ. We pray peace to Israel. Amen.
