Building Muscular Faith

Isaiah 30:1-3
Woe to the rebellious children, says the LORD
Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit,
That they may add sin to sin; Who walk to go down to Egypt,
And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh,
And to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore the strength of Pharaoh shall be your shame,
And trust in the shadow of Egypt  shall be your humiliation.

Oh Heavenly Father, we are a simple, stupid and weak people. We walk by sight and not by faith. We trust in illusions, shadows of strength when all mighty power is ours, in You. All knowledge, wisdom and power is Yours. All peace, joy, love, hope, mercy, victory and faith is You. You gift us with all that we have, including an all mighty, faith and the mind of Christ is amazingly, ours to touch. Yet sometimes, we put ourselves first, instead of You. We seek worldly advice instead of Yours. We thank You for the priceless process of repentance available to us because of the blood of Jesus. Cause us to enter repentance immediately so we may keep very short sin accounts. God, thank You for Your word, that we may walk it, be awash in it and be washed into righteous daily living. Cause us to choose rightly which ways to go, what is sound to know, how to listen to Your voice only and please, allow us to please Your heart, serving, loving and growing. Thank You for building in every believer, Divine Muscle, strengthened by the Holy Spirit Himself.  Thank You for Your Presence, and we do pray peace to Israel. Amen.
