God's Record for all to Read...

We, saved by grace, trust God by faith. Why? God's record. What is God's record. God's record is His word, recorded in the Bible for all to read for themselves. The Bible is changeless, yet supremely relevant, written for every Christian around the world. It is not edited. It's God's word.

I so love the book of Job. Chapter 12 is today's reading and it reminds me so much of what I've been hearing in the morning, political news. "The deceived and the deceiver are His."
This shows me that God loves all of us unconditionally, even when we become deceived or when we participate in deception, whether on purpose or by accident. Forgiven, we move out of sin by His grace.  God is moving all people, events, wars, peace treaties, all things into place. He's sovereign over all and moving all, according to His will. Political leaders lie to protect their own agendas. They mislead and are misled. They don't have the strength of faith to speak truth, thereby becoming misled themselves. It's a slippery slope for a Christian to enter politics. He can only stand steadfastly, in the word. That's why we are to pray for our leaders, especially those who profess faith in Christ.

This is how we can see God moving through politics, politicians and what ignites, His contempt.
God knows and shows us that the Father of Lies, is Satan, the Great Deceiver. Sheep sometimes, just believe the wrong thing. God knows our hearts, our limitations and some great epiphanies, yet to come to us. "The deceived and the deceiver are His. He leads counselors away plundered, and makes fools of the judges. He loosens the bonds of kings, and binds their waist with a belt. He leads princes away plundered, and overthrows the mighty. He deprives the trusted ones of speech, and takes away the discernment of the elders. He pours contempt on princes, and disarms the mighty. He uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings the shadow of death to light. He makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations and guides them. He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and makes them wander in a pathless wilderness. They grope in the dark without light, and He makes them stagger like a drunken man." Job 12:16:b-25
