CAN WE MAKE GOD, FURIOUS? Yes, they wanted what they fancied, not what God provided.

"But they sinned even more against Him by rebelling against the Most High in the wilderness. And they tested God in their heart by asking for the food of their fancy. Yes, they spoke against God: They said, "Can God prepare a table in the wilderness? Behold, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushes out, And the streams overflowed. Can He give bread also? Can He provide meat for His people?" Therefore the LORD heard this and was furious; So a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also came up against Israel, Because they did not believe in God, and did not trust in His salvation." Psalm 78:17-21. Israel struggled against God. America is doing the same thing, in many ways. Help!
Yes we can make God furious. God has provided two leaders, which are polar opposites, for our American election. One promises change and one promises more of the same. One is known for telling the hard truth. One is known for scandal and lies. One is a career politician. One has never run for a political office. One promises to put America first, the other promises to put government first.
The majority of current office holders do not want political change, so they are not supporting the outsider. Unfortunately, this perpetuates continuing scandal and corruption. Those who have become wealthy while in office, want to continue growing their wealth and power. She is owned by donors.
The outsider is surrounded by experienced, principled politicians and military brass, along with solid family support and counsel. His agenda supports conservative Supreme Court nominations and conservative overall economic and foreign policy. He professes Jesus as his savior and has surrounded himself with believers. He is owned by no one but belongs to God.
The people are not united. Those in and out of power, are dividing, and supporting their own choices, according to what is right in their own sight. There is very little sense of doing what is right for the greater good, or of patriotism, nationalism or Americanism. There is a strong, smelly, sense of divisive, personal, ugly, criticism. Policy discussions are nearly impossible, fed by media biases.

Father, my short prayer is to keep us, Your church, from making You FURIOUS and help us "FANCY who and what, You FANCY." Alert us to disregard all FALSE NARRATIVES or lies. Please keep us from forming, a self-driven, critical nature. Increase our FAITH, our prayer lives and Bible time. We want to hear You and FEAR only You. We want to be recognized as citizens of heaven, as we look forward to eternal life with Your Son, our King Jesus, in the kingdom of heaven. Thank You and Amen.
