If we believe everything is all we see, then we're depressed.
If we believe in the invisible reality, then we're blessed.
Lord give us eyes to see You by heart.
Cause us to memorize Your word by heart.
Cause those who think You don't love them because they have unrelenting physical pain, heartache and suffering to KNOW that You alone understand their thoughts and feelings. You suffered even more, for them and us all. Cause those who think You don't exist to understand You love them and know them whether they love or know You. That You change not. That You are ready to save everyone from their bitter, angry, cold-hearted places where they think You don't exist or You are not worth believing because You've let fiery suffering happen to them.That none are too far away that You cannot reach them. That no one is so far "gone" that You can't save them. That salvation does not depend on them, but on You, that they need only want to change from dead judgmental ways to faithful hopefulness by following Your heart instead of their own hearts. God, let those questioning hearts relax and transform in YOU, our ANSWER. Show them that You are beyond beyond and able to comfort, lift and save spirits in paralyzed, or badly burned or disease ridden bodies. That earth is just not all there is. That heaven and hell are real.
That You are healing, healing of body, mind and spirit. That You are comfort. You are the God of all comfort and outside of You there is no comfort at all. You are peace. You are past understanding. You are present ever close and always separated from sin. You are holy. Your heart is beyond words, it's so roomy, having places for us all. Your patience has extended into today. Miracle of Miracles.
THAT YOU ARE NOT WHO WE "THINK" YOU ARE.
YOU ARE WHO YOU SAY YOU ARE IN YOUR WORD.
You are a very revealing God with majestic ways.
You are alive, present and desirous of relationship
with everyone You created, wanting none to perish.
You love us impartially, all the same, equally always
and unconditionally. There is nothing or no one You can't forgive. No one is beyond Your heart.
Show all that it's not the length of our prayers but the STRENGTH we are PRAYING TO. YOU ARE GOD. We pray
cold hearts would be accepting of Your invitation to follow Jesus by simply believing. No formula, but the life changing decision to follow You, once and for all. That You do the rest, leading us into hunger and thirst only Your word can satisfy. Growing and changing us always to be more like Jesus. That our own personal failures are many times, our greatest teachers. Thank You for them. Thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your Son Jesus to pay the sin debt we owe, once and for all of us. Thank You. Amen.
