I want to avoid pretext...I want content and context. Context is king!
I want content and context. Anything out of context is pretext and a virtual wasteland of content. I believe God wants us to listen to politicians for ourselves, for context and content. That we are not to depend on media to repackage the messengers, and messages, telling us what they said or meant. If we don't read God's word for ourselves, we will not recognize His voice. If we do not listen to politicians for ourselves, we will not know the context of what was said and miss most of the content. I want content and context. My Jewish Bible teacher Bob Morris used to teach: "Content without context is pretext. Context is king!" Yes I think so too! Monday Blessings to all, as we earnestly hunt for content and context. So help us God, to avoid, pretext!
