"Findings" while mining, in Psalm 38 ..Why? Because and HELP!

When our HOLY Father, chastens, He is merciful. It is good we understand His holy reasons for creating us to need chastening, to need His commandments and to require instruction, on how to live. He prepares us, so that life, may go well with us. Our choices, matter to Him. I love the conviction which is, His word, David's example of personal examination, and David's short and powerful prayer for help. Our heartwork continues....

Psalm 38 Why? Because, findings....
verse 3
There is no soundness in my flesh
BECAUSE OF YOUR ANGER,
Nor any health in my bones
BECAUSE OF MY SIN.
verse 5
My wounds are foul and festering
BECAUSE OF MY FOOLISHNESS.
verse 8
I am feeble and severely broken;
I groan BECAUSE OF THE TURMOIL OF MY HEART.

Psalm 38 Thus and so......
verses 14-16
Thus I am like a man who does not hear, And in whose mouth is no response.
For in You, O LORD, I hope;
You will hear, O Lord my God.
For I said, "Hear me, lest they rejoice over me,
Lest, when my foot slips, they exalt themselves against me."

verses 21-22 Help.....!
Do not forsake me, O LORD;
O my God, be not far from me!
Make haste to help me,
O Lord, my salvation!

Father, we are so deeply blessed that You formed our hearts. You see each tear that falls. You know every thought, and You hear us when we call. You know our names, You feel our sin moments, often, before we realize we've missed the mark. Yet, You do not leave us hapless or helpless. You give us Your heart, the Holy Spirit Himself and the greatest gift of all, Jesus, Your living word. Cause us to find, mine and seek life lessons in Your word. Guide our digging. Cause us to focus, remain on point and walk away, displaying Your word, our treasure without measure. We seek to be like Jesus, to bring You pleasure and to grow in fear and love, worshipping and singing of Your amazing grace! SO HELP US GOD! We love You and ask You accomplish these things in us, in Jesus' name, and for His sake. We pray peace, to Jerusalem. Amen.
