Spiritual Battling, is ongoing. We must not shrink, from our response-ability to war-against, the evil one. Satan is real. He is the Father of lies and Commander of confusion.
Our president is a believer, builder, negotiator, deal maker and leader. He is also a grandfather, who dearly loves his family. No one deserves beheading, assassination threats or attempts. Great leadership invites great opposition. The Bible tells us so.
Jesus is the finest leader, builder, lover of family, thinker, strategist ever born. Our president seems to have learned a thing or two, from Jesus, as well as from, the world. Trump knows the trials Christ undertook to free us, from corrupting sin. By studying the life of Christ, leaders learn, how He built lives, and dealt with political lies. Trump is well acquainted with opposition, surely becoming, even better acquainted with Jesus. May we all be found building personal faith in Jesus, and never be found breaking faith down, with worry or accusatory beliefs.
We are living in perilous times. Recently, Congressmen, practicing for a charity baseball game, became targets of a deranged shooter. Nevertheless, prayer, is an all powerful weapon. Prayerfulness, is a most powerful practice. The absence of prayer, or prayerlessness, promotes corruption, murderous thoughts and deadly actions. Matthew 6:13 tells us to pray, "deliver us from the evil one." Yes there is an evil one, authoring murderous plots, rebellion and fear. Satan is against us.
Trump's co-workers and family report, that he, prayerfully, stays open to the mind of God, constantly thinking, outside the box. Yesterday he made news, proposing an inspired idea. He proposed that our southern border wall, might be built with solar panels. That this wall, might be beautiful, increase energy supplies and even help pay for itself. Brilliant. Builder. Negotiator. Patriot. Businessman. Receiver, of inspired thoughts! God is with us.
Dear God, teach us the how, what, what, why and when of prayer. Please form and inform our prayer. Humble our talk, refine our walk and help us muscle up in spiritual warfare. Make us more like Your Son. You are what and a who, matters most and first, to all of us. Cause us to live, Saved. Amen.
