Thoughts on Growing Healthy Churches or Growing Monster Governments.

Perhaps if the Church walks stronger and meets more needs, maybe Government "over-reach"will stop.
Governments fall because as yet, they do not rest on the shoulders of Christ.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this." Isaiah 9:6-7

Until then, man's efforts to govern himself and others will rise and fall.  And so it has always been and will be, until, the government will be upon His shoulder.  The Lord's zeal will perform this. It will take His zeal to perform this. Man was never meant to "govern" himself. God's plan, was for Him to be our Father and we to be His heirs. That we would receive the greatness of salvation, His abundance and His heart toward us.

God of Grace, mighty in power, maker and mover of mountains,
Grow the church in compassion, in vision, in outreach, in helping one another. Grow the church to house, clothe and feed one another. Grow the church to employ and work to prosper one another.  Grow our prosperity that we might tithe more, make foundations to support the poorest among us and to teach each other how to take care of our own while helping others. Grow the church Father. Grow the family. Establish fathers and mothers in Your word, that they might grow in gospel spreading and provide faithbuilding teachings to future generations. God, stop the spread of government and increase the spread of the gospel. In the matchless name of Jesus.  Amen.
