Jesus IS the Amen. Amen = Absolute Trust and Confidence.

The Amen, SPEAKS to us. The Bible IS the Living Word. The Bible IS Jesus. Jesus IS the Amen, as we read in Revelation 3:14. He IS also the Faithful and True Witness, the BEginning of the creation of God. Revelation 22:12 quotes Jesus where He SAYS He IS the Alpha and the Omega, the BEginning and the End, the First and the Last. God speaks. We are to HEAR Him. At least 7 times He tells the 7 churches to HEAR Him. Our God lives. Christianity is relationship with the living God, not a religion.

According to Vines Dictionary: "Once in the New Testament 'Amen' IS a title of Christ, Revelation 3:14, because through Him the purposes of God are established, 2 Corinthians 1:20."

According to Strong's Dictionary: "The word "amen" is a most remarkable word. It was transliterated directly from the Hebrew into the Greek of the New Testament, then into Latin and into English and man other languages, so that it is practically a universal word. It has been called the best known word in human speech. the word is directly related - in fact, almost identical -- to the Hebrew word for "believe" (amam), or faithful. thus it came to mean "sure" or "truly", an expression of absolute trust and confidence. HMM"

In these times of global uncertainty, isn't it awesome to KNOW the AMEN? By faith we know Him, recognize His voice and CHOOSE to obey Him, or not. What does He ask the church to do first?  HEAR HIM.  Repeatedly Jesus asks the 7 churches to hear Him, by listening for the voice of the SPIRIT.
"He who has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT SAYS to the churches." Revelation 2:7

One of the main reasons He wants us to HEAR HIM, is that so we will be READY when He comes again. He wants none to perish, (John 3:16). The Dead Church will not be ready. Jesus tells us how to avoid being left behind when He comes again. Revelation 3 says: (1) He knows our works, and He decides if they are living works or dead works (Rev 3:1). ( 2) He commands us to be watchful, strengthen and get ready (Rev 3:2). (3) He further says to remember how we have received and heard; to hold fast and repent (Rev 3:3a). Churches that do these things will be ready for rapture. Churches that DO NOT DO these things will NOT be ready. They will be caught unaware, "I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know that hour I will come upon you." (Rev 3:3b)

To avoid the DEADNESS of UNREADINESS simply:

REMEMBER THE TRUTH you have received. 
OBEY IT.
TURN AROUND and start moving in a NEW DIRECTION.


Father, we pray in the matchless name of Jesus that You awaken the church to any dead works, and light those dark works up so they can be overcome. Train us relentlessly how to recognize Your voice by learning Your word. Cause churches everywhere to teach Your full counsel, from Genesis to Revelation and allow us to receive it all and obey it. Thank You for repentance and the turning around which makes You smile. We love and adore You Lord and thank You. AMEN and AMEN!!!

Amen, this is a sure and true work of God, heard by the Spirit's teaching and by the love of Jesus, our Amen!!
