Life is unsure. Security is available.

"But God draws the mighty away with His power;
He rises up, but no man is sure of life.
He gives them security, and they rely on it;
Yet His eyes are on their ways." Job 24:22-23

God's Social Security System:
"But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil." Proverbs 1:33

I tend to not read the sermons and speeches of Job's friends very closely. They draw such wrong conclusions about things. What great examples they are of bad examples. They exemplify the folly of making sweeping statements, offering trite conclusions and wordy summations without basic acknowledgments or understandings of God's higher and greater ways. Our obvious limitations point eloquently, to our limitless God. God made all things from the invisible. The invisible reality is His. He scientifically shows us the invisible reality often through microbiology, microscopes, telescopes and other "seeing" tools. How true. While invisible to the naked eye, atoms, protons, electrons and molecules are just a few of the invisible building blocks of the visible.

How can we rely upon His eyes? By FAITH SIGHTINGS. Faith sees past circumstances into the unseen reality which He chooses to reveal or conceal according to His higher perfect will.  This gives us such security. He's in total control and He's watching our ways, not for our harm, but to accomplish His higher, perfect love. It's all about Him. We will see and hear Him more clearly when following Him closely, listening for Him firstly and trusting His word above all others. I want to be enabled to trust His eyes, before my own. It's a matter of priorities, God first, seeking His kingdom first.

"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." Hebrews 11:3.

God of all, Giver of faith, Giver of life, Giver of breath, Giver of sight, Giver of might, Giver of all big and small, it is to YOU we come asking YOU to form and inform our prayers. Heighten our HOLY HEARING by drowning out all lying voices from hell. Sharpen our FAITH SIGHTINGS. Help us trust Your eyes, before we trust our own eyes.

We want to see and hear You, as You continue to reveal Yourself throughout today. Cause us to be silently aware of Your unseen presence and to be found awaiting Your silent promptings before we dare speak or talk back to someone. Help us to obediently, cast all our cares on You and take each thought captive to Jesus. Yes to Jesus, our perfect,  SAVIOR and RESURRECTED LORD.

Keep our thoughts from straying into selfish territory. What a waste of time. We waste so much time wondering about what others might be thinking or feeling about something we said or did. Instead, please cause us to first consider You. May we first ask You what You might be doing through every missed understanding, every missed communication, every hurt feeling, every offense given or
received. Then may we listen and hear You. We fight so many unnecessary THOUGHT WARS. We surrender all.

We spend so much time trying to fix broken things which we cannot fix. Things we obviously don't completely understand. Things broken under Your watchful eye. Perhaps even  broken by YOUR REPAIRING HAND. You PREPARE the REPAIR, often RE-PAIRING us with You once we have sinned, perhaps having fallen out of right relationship with You in an argument. Often we "self-defend" and thereby "offend" our listeners.  Oh, how unwise we are when we enter Your Repairing Territories. Forgive us Father. YOU don't ever need our assistance.

Teach us to rely exclusively on You, for everything always, in all ways. Help us always, to rely upon You, Your unseen reality and the seen.  Thank You for sending Jesus, the express image of You. We pray peace to Israel and thank You for life, security and mostly for Jesus. You do all things well. Build our prayer life, our faith and our Bible time. Cause our lives to serve Your beautiful heart today. Amen.
