"EGO CHECK"

"Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. God, Father of all believers, Maker of heaven and earth, Creator of our hearts, our minds and our spirits, we come to You to form and inform our prayers. Help us God, die to our selfishness, ourselves and our narcissism. Cause us grand desire of heart to LIVE FOR YOU. You deserve far more from us than we typically give. Seems we gladly take all that You give. You keep our hearts beating  our lungs breathing and our days filled with potential to serve You. You give and give and give. Help us imitate Your giving heart and give Your received and overflowing love to the loveless, the unlovely and simply to everyone always. Help us be in right relationship with You. Remind us that it is NOT WHAT we might think we know, but it IS all about YOU. YOU are the WHO who knows us, and that YOU want us to know YOU. How miraculous is that? Stuns me. That You know us, created us and even want us to know You, our revealing, ever present GOD!!! Awesome!!! Thank You for Your love. We ask You send Peace to Israel. Thank You in advance for all You are doing in our lives today, maybe especially for the ego check of Your word! Amen.
