Our God Zone, the Human Spirit. That holy place where we can Decide the Devil out.

Romans chapter 12 speaks of all God does for us every moment of every day. He transforms, renews and enables us to prove His perfect will. I want His way. I don't want limited thoughts about everything. His thoughts are so much more telling, complete and promising. If I BELIEVE this, then His opinions are the only ones that are important to me. My opinions are so tainted, incomplete and usually inaccurate.

So what do we need to remember? Perhaps as Psalm 46:10, to be still, and KNOW He is God, and we are not. I often hear this precious rebuke in my spirit. Why? Because, daily, almost hour by hour,  we receive horrendous news reports, designed to incite riots, ignite division and destroy Christian living. In  stillness, He speaks strength, cheerful courage and exhortations to our spirits. Lost perspective becomes perspective gained. The perfect prism for perspective is Jesus.  Jesus, our Person of and Giver of Perfect Perspective.

Our intellects are awesome, a true and mighty gift with true and mighty limits. Our spirits, on the other hand are beyond awesome. They are limitless, bullet proof and eternal. Guess where I like to spend more time? Yep. In the spirit. I like to think the spirits of believers are boundless, impartial, unconditional and limitless. I like to think of our human spirits as our God zone. Thinking is an essential component to being Christ like. We give thanks for our intellects, where we also receive cautionary warnings. Intellectual journeys can glorify God or ourselves if we're not careful. Time spent in prayer, Bible study and devotional time is my favorite place to be, in the spirit of God, by the Holy Spirit's teachings to my God given spirit which will live forever with Him!

THOUGHT FULL PERSPECTIVES…….
"For I say, through the grace given to the me, to everyone who is among you, NOT TO THINK OF HIMSELF MORE HIGHLY than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith." Romans 12:3
Our faith is God given, measured and the key to Christian living.

"For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen." Romans 11:36
"Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin." James 4:17
What we know, all of what we see, "all" is of Him, through Him and to Him. No such thing is actually man made except perhaps for our sin choices for which we alone, are responsible!

"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. DO NOT BE WISE IN YOUR OWN OPINION." Romans 12:14-16
I go back to Romans 12:3, that transformed life where we are not to think more highly of our ways, over God's ways; of our thoughts over His thoughts; of our desires over His desires. His opinions are the only ones that need to matter to us, all the time. We can be there in the spirit, blended with peace, prophecy, history and dependance on the promises of God. There, in the spirit, we can live in His wisdom, associating with everyone unconditionally, without judgment and with impartiality.

STAYING IN THE WORD KEEPS US FROM STRAYING INTO THE WORLD.  JESUS IS OUR GOSPEL SPREADING WAY INTO AND THROUGH THE WORLD.
God's love for the world gave us Jesus, who is our gospel spreading way into and through the world.
Sin erupts, sects arise, Bible translations who now leave out the name of Jesus have all resulted in people becoming led away from God's saving love. When man removes himself from Bible reading and prayer, God's word becomes lost to him. Perspective is lost.  Man begins thinking he is more tolerant and more loving than the loving God who made him. Man becomes the measure of himself. This is an ancient problem going back to the ancient Greeks. They exalted something called Arete which was their term for an excellent life style.  Their search for excellence was measured by men of men for the glory of men. This form of humanism is nothing new, is present today and is just as wrong today as it was then. How dare anyone think he or she is more loving or more tolerant than God? Heaven help us all to stay away from this sort of humanism. Jesus, half man and half God was the greatest "humanist" of all time. Jesus. Praise Jesus. Staying in the word keeps us from Straying into the world. God's love for the world gave us Jesus, who is our gospel spreading way into and through the world. It is Jesus who keeps us from straying into the world. Am remembering God's love for the world and that we are simply passing through as citizens of heaven. This world is not our home, and without a spiritual perspective, we can cheat ourselves of great earthly blessings of faith building love and cheer.

Oh Father of all peace, knowledge and wisdom; Designer of our spirits, Lover of our souls, Our Defender, Deliverer, Protector and Shepherd we come to YOU to form and inform our prayers.
Thank You for our spirits. Thank You even more for the Person of the Holy Spirit, our closest Friend in Jesus. Daily we learn our deepened need to depend on our Indweller, the Holy Spirit. Thank You.  Thank You for how You humble us, remind us, nudge us, urge us and flat out, speak plainly to us through Your word. Open or hearts, minds and eyes when we get closed, opinionated and overwhelmed. Help us identify the "whelmers" of pride, prayerlessness and selfishness sooner and sooner. Help us meet our fears and insecurities with the obedience of Christ, His prayer life and His faithfulness. You have given us all we need and more. Please continue to build our spirits without stopping. The enemy seems to offer relentless interference with our spiritual doings. Thanks for being so patient with us as we sometimes self promote instead of preferring others as You would. You are such a gentleman. You have never forced Your ways on anyone. We praise You. We love You. We seek to imitate Jesus.
WE LOVE AND GIVE THANKS FOR GIVING US OUR GOD ZONE, THE HUMAN SPIRIT.
That place of eternity, where we so love to spend so much of our daily living. Thank You.
We see how our spirit's can become taken over by satanic attacks of fear, doubt, worry and anger. We seek to keep them purely empowered and inviting for all You want to do in our daily existence while on earth. Thank You for the ability to DECIDE THE DEVIL OUT!  The devil flees at the matchless name of Jesus. We are sorry for giving the devil any time at all. Help us spread the gospel throughout our temporary time on earth. By the time we get to heaven, we hope we've left a heavenly glow below!!
We pray peace to Israel, Your treasure and for the gift of grafting us in. We ask and pray all this in the matchless name of Jesus our High Priest, Savior and Friend. Amen.
