HE DESIRES US. Puts a new spin on the word DESIROUS.

Do not hold back any part of your heart from God. Give Him your whole heart always, in all ways. God desires us fully, wholeheartedly, completely that we hold nothing back from Him.  He desires no secret hearts, no darkness for us, just the light of His holy all powerful love. Oh how good He is. How good is our God?

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pay to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD…." Jeremiah 29:11-14a

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

He offers everlasting life. We are never to be separated from Him. This is so important to His holy heart, that it cost Him His only begotten Son, who indeed died, was resurrected on the third day, that we might have eternal life. That's how important, how desiroUS we are to Him.

How great it is to be fully desired by GOD. May we respond in kind, desiring Him wholeheartedly. He deserves nothing less and wants this all the more, for us. NEVERTHELESS, HEISALWAYSTHEMORE.

Philemon's love and faith according to Paul:
"I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good things which is in you in Christ Jesus. For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother." Philemon 1-7

Philemon was a wealthy Christian who had been converted most likely while Paul was in Ephesus. History records that Philemon had church services at his house in Colosse. The church there was started by some of Paul's sons in the faith. Colosse was in present day Turkey and Philemon was a slave owner. One of his slaves, Onesimus ran AWAY to Rome, ran INTO Paul and BECAME saved! No random thing ever happens according to our God! So, Paul wrote a letter to Philemon and gave it to Onesimus to return and give to him, which he did. Paul told Philemon, in the letter, that if Onesimus owed him anything to charge it to Paul's account. Since Philemon owed Paul his eternal life, Paul figured that should cover it! This shows us how important restitution is to God. He gives us ways to pay our way if we just serve and follow His heart daily…..wealthy or not, all to Him we owe! We have such an giving Father. So grateful.

God of all wealth, Giver of all good things, Sender of Your word, Sender of Jesus whose many names include: "Desire of all Nations," which You tell us in Haggai 2:7,  it is to You we come to form and inform this prayer. How grateful we are that YOU DESIRE US. We can barely take that in. Holy God, King of all, Creator of all, who made all from the invisible, calling the visible into being by Your awesome WORD, that You desire us. Thank YOU and may we FULLY, WHOLEHEARTEDLY DESIRING YOU, TO SERVE YOU, LOVE YOU AND SPREAD YOUR GOOD NEWS. Oh God, would You cause all the people You place in our daily awarenesses, our daily lives, our nights and days to BECOME YOURS, grow in YOU, and be free in You. May we always do restitution by and for Your approval. Please set the captives free by the blood of Jesus. We pray peace to Israel. Amen.
