Ways to preserve our REPUBLIC.

What's on my mind:

We Americans, live in a REPUBLIC where people elect their government representatives.
People in other countries fight and die for the right to vote for representation in government. American men and women have fought for this right to vote for representation. Today, low voter turnout invites if not announces America has been transformed and is risk of losing our status as a republic. A life long voter, and expert at nothing, I have listened, studied and collected some ideas. These may be very unpopular, yet, at the same time,  possibly effective ways to reform and renew, what we see happening  to the American Republic. These are by no means a complete treatment of reform, but merely a beginning shot in what some of us see as a war being waged against our freedom by current political policies and people. We need change.

1) Make all Political offices VOLUNTEER, no payment, starting with the President.
Would eliminate lobbying, vote buying and so much more corruption.
2) Make term limits for all offices starting with President, 6 years.
3) Remake electoral system.
4) Write laws based on Constitutional precepts, most particularly the Bill of Rights where our Creator is authority. Right and wrong is based on a belief in God. Without that basic premise we are lawless.
5) Eliminate judicial cancellation of elections such as has happened in California recently, twice, relative to the covenant of marriage.
6) Value your vote. It's God given.

7) The vote is ours. The result is His. So, we pray the vote.

Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:21-22

It's in God we trust and obey. We thank Him for the opportunity to vote. Amen.
