Unbelief is Never from God.

Unbelief is deadly, lonely, dangerous territory. Unbelief leads to the loneliness of the unknown. Unbelief is dangerous and always begins with a lie tucked within it. UnbeLIEf is from Satan, the Father of Lies. We need remember this and that God cannot lie.

"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father." From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more." John 6:62-65

Father, thank You that we believers are known to You. You also know those who will hear Your words, and yet, walk away in unbelief. You also know those who give will You a try, and then walk with You no more. You know everything, can do everything, and no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. Thank You for choosing each believer. Sometimes we think we see and know things we truly do not see or know, because for now we see dimly, without a full perspective on anything! Your word gives us vision. Your word is Your pledge, our bread, our water and our life. Unbelief is defined by You, not us. Your terms are higher, broader, deeper, perfect and true. Build our trust and faith.

Save us from the sin of unbelief. Return each wayward thought to whole hearted trust in Jesus. So that we trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own, quite limited, understandings.

Thanks that we abide in Christ and can choose to live by every word that comes from Your mouth.  Help us live rightly, walk worthy, love always and spread the gospel to all You send us. We ask these things and tell You these things in the matchless name of Jesus. We also ask You to send peace to Israel. Amen.
