The Battle to Believe - No choice, is a choice.

The Battle to Believe touches everyone on earth. There is no escape. No choice, is a choice.

The first volley in the war against faith is often, hatred of the Bible, a distinct dislike of God's word.
Hatred is just one sin that required the blood of Jesus.  Why choose to live in hatred?  Hate the Bible? Why? Who benefits from your hate? No one, but one, the devil himself.

"He who despises the word will be destroyed, But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded." Proverbs 13:13

Why, if you hate the Bible, God's word, will you be destroyed? Simple. Because God, in His holy love, regards His word, above His own name. The word became flesh, Jesus.

"For you have magnified Your word above all Your name." Psalm 138:2c
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" John 1:14a

Jesus was with God in the beginning, when God, by His word, created the universe. So if you choose the same thing Satan chose, to hate God's word, then you chose eternal death and destruction. Hate kills. Cain slew Able because of hate. Hate is as old as time. Satan is the King of Hatred and all evil. Understand that God is sovereign whether you think so or not. Whatever we think does not change the fact that God is God. The battle to believe is part of life on earth. You need to choose sides before you leave earth. Make no mistake, no choice is a choice.

What can you do to change your hate? With a sincere heart, look to God, and ask Him how much He loves you. You will be pointed to the cross of Christ, which is how much He loves all of us. Jesus suffered and died for all our sins, for all time, so that we could live with Him, forever with the Father in heaven and that while we walk the earth, we can love others as He loves us.

If you want to know more about what God thinks of His word, study and read all of Psalm 119. This psalm give us an awesome view into God's heart for His word.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalm 119:105.  Those without light, stumble in darkness.
"The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple." Psalm 119:130.  Understanding is hard to find in the dark.
"I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word. My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word." Psalm 119:147-148. God hears our heart-needs even in the middle of the night. Then in night's darkness, we can open our Bibles and read what He wants to say to us. He's always listening and wanting to speak to us. We must only want to hear and know His word, and separate His word from among all other imitations.

Father God, thank You for having the Bible written for us to open. Cause us to go to Your word more often and memorize what You are saying to us. Help us remember Your promises and to know Jesus more. Thank You for salvation and that He is now in our hearts and we are in Yours. Cause all Bible haters to choose You. Move them decide to dump their pride, their fear of change, their ignorance and their wrong impressions. Invite them, with open minds and hearts, to choose You! Cause them to seek to understand Truth, and receive Your forgiving, impartial, unconditional love. Thank You for  bringing us and all those who will believe, into eternal life. May they fall in love with Jesus while there is still time. Thank You that while there is breath there is hope. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus and for His sake. Amen.
