SERVE is the largest part of obSERVE, reSERVE, deSERVE. To serve implies a need, a needer and a need to meet. God created us with a God shaped need. God wants none to perish. Everyone needs God, the gospel, needs to accept the good news and trust Christ with their whole beings. We serve King God by spreading His loving, saving good news to the perishing. We serve Him by noticing the lost. We serve Him by asking Him to help us bring the good news to them. We serve Him by loving the unlovely, being prayer aware and spending much time in the Word with Him. Our place with Him is reserved as is our home in heaven. His grace, unmerited favor is ours even though we don't deserve it. This is all good and great news! Let's SERVE Him, together. Serving one another, is serving Him.
SERVANT is the largest part of OBSERVANT.
We serve a Servant King, ruler over everything. "Apart from Him, we can do nothing." John 15:5c
God help us see ourselves as You see us. Develop our observance capacities. We miss so much.
Please make us OBSERVANT SERVANTS that we might see You, follow You closely and serve You, Your will and Your saints. Apart from You we can do nothing. With you, we have no borders. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus and ask You to send peace to Israel. Amen.
