Finish strong, steadfast in heart."
A thought I caught, this morning, while listening for God to speak.
"My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise." Psalm 57:7
"Throw off everything that hinders us and run with endurance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1b
Father, You are the GREATEST COACH! You are in the race with us, helping us stay strong, and confidently, in our own lanes. God, we want to finish our own personal races, with strength and steadfastness of heart. So much works to weaken our faith, to trip us up, and to discourage us from even finishing! We thank You that You are more, You are sovereign, You are above supreme, You are GOD! Help us dwell upon You, not the problems. You are our Problem Solver. Nothing touches us that You have not first, "Father-filtered." So, please help us stand steadfast in Your word, eyes on Jesus, walking each step, "prayer aware" of Your leadings. We seek to strengthen in faith, by spending much time listening for You, by reading Your word and walking in fellowship with other believers. Thank You for our awesome Helper, the Holy Spirit Himself. Thank You that by hiding Your word in our hearts, we can recognize Your voice amongst all others. We also would like to ask You to send peace to Israel, in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
