Daily Joyful Life Bible Study thought: In order to possess, or take possession of, others must be dispossessed. Courage is often required, to acquire, and to come against, resistance. If God leads us to something worth acquiring, we can pretty much count on the fact that, there will be, opposition. It is the reality of, spiritual warfare.
Another thought, "command" is a military term...implies resistance ahead. We are to go and accomplish the objective. Mission accomplished, might be considered, commandment kept! We have such a VERY PRESENT, COMMANDER of our souls! Thank You God!
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go...."
