WORDS are INVISIBLE, POWER.

WORDS are INVISIBLE, POWER.
A little Word study...springing from Ezekiel 2.
God told Ezekiel repeatedly, do not be afraid of their WORDS, or how they look. Just speak My WORD and don't try to convince them. Then Ezekiel was handed a scroll with more WORDS to digest.
Then devotions took me to Hebrews 11:3 "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." WORDS are INVISIBLE, POWER.
The Holy Spirit, my best friend, teacher and guide, then moved me to Psalm 138:2d "For You have magnified Your WORD above all Your name."
He shown light to me, on the WORD, WORDS all morning!
Learned, WORDS are invisible power. WORDS can build, signify, develop or destroy. God's WORD created and creates, universes. WORDS impart love, hate and indifference. God's WORD is all this and more. God gave man WORDS. God did not give rocks, WORDS, or trees, WORDS, or oceans, WORDS. Created in His image, God gives humans, the invisible power of WORDS.
Father God, help us value WORDS, like You value WORDS. Cause us to fear and revere YOUR WORD above all, having it ready on our tongues, minds, and hearts daily.
Forgive us for automatic, prayerless, thoughtless, selfish WORDS launched daily. We have, each one of us, abused Your WORD gift.
Our WORD banks, are precious to Your heart. Please make them become more precious to us! Help us, more carefully invest Your heart, into our WORDS. Cause our WORDS to bless, and not bruise. Thank You for WORDS. May we grow ever more, WORD wise, prudent, slow to speak and quick to listen. Cause us to grow in RESPECT, for the invisible POWER, of WORDS.
Please, by the perfect nudges of the Holy Spirit Himself, remind us, of the INVISIBLE POWER of WORDS, especially the INVISIBLE POWER OF YOUR WORD, fitly learned, remembered and spoken.
We thank You for Your WORD and for our word gifts. We ask Your help, in all these things, because we love and seek to be more like Your Son, Jesus, the LIVING WORD. Amen
