THE CAR, God's Workshop on Wheels! 🚗🚕🚙
We enlisted both boys into the kingdom of heaven when they were very young. Both accepted Christ in the car on the way to pre-kindergarten. Did alot of praying, questioning and as they grew, scripture reading out loud, from the back seat. Began teaching them about spiritual warfare while my husband and I were looking into it and leaning into it! Spiritual Warfare is basic training for today, a sort of Biblical boot camp. Psalm 18 was a great equipper, describing God's leadership for life and spiritual warfare to win. "For by You, I can run against a troop, By my God, I can leap over a wall." Psalm 18:29. Our family verse came out of those car rides, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13. 
. Was blessed to title our eldest son's 2002 high school graduation party theme, "Onward and Upward," from Psalm 18. They learned about physical and spiritual warfare, from the attacks of 9/11. Our son served God at a church near ground zero, after the attacks, serving coffee and comforts to first responders. Physical and Spiritual Warfare are both, powerfully, real.

Car time, can be a great, faithbuilding time, a well as a humbling test of our Christianity, when certain traffic moves happen! 
I remain VERY thankful for our car time, and daily drive back and forth from home to school, from Irvine to Costa Mesa. The REALITIES of salvation, the worship songs they made up, the prayers and everything GOD DID from that car TOOK ROOT. Now in their thirties, God is first, with both of them, their Christian wives, and my two grand girls, Olivia and Grace. God's work is perfect.
Am a VERY Grateful Granmama, who got to watch God, save,act, love, plant, water and grow the seeds of knowledge, truth, wisdom and faith THEN, and even Now as we watch God forming faith, through us, and the parents and grandparents of generation #3! He is so good. 🚗
