The LORD will fight for us, when we keep silent!
Exodus 14:14
"The LORD will fight for you, and you will hold your peace."
We can see and hear silent words when listening with our hearts.
"Listen" and "Silent," use the same letters.
Lived is Devil spelled backwards.
Live is Evil spelled backwards.
Notice "hear" is part of the word "heart." Notice "ear" is part of the words "heart" and "hear." Notice "earth" uses the same letters as "heart."
See that ANGER is the largest part of the word DANGER, a warning in a word.
The Holy Spirit Himself impresses God's Superiority into our daily faith. Our ability to say the wrong things and that fact that He's best at everything, makes it easier and easier for us keep quiet when verbally confronted. Faith gives us eyes to watch God at work within our personal word wars. He's especially easy to see, when we keep our lips still. Seems like faith has a really big silent stage. So let's bring on the silence. Let's not enter into word wars. Let's watch Him wage war by His words. He wins every time.
Prideful words come before a fall, while humble lips won't speak at all!
Quiet hearts display His might. Noisy lips invite a fight.
Father of the Living Word, Designer of our lips, King of Silence, Creator of all Invisible Reality from which You created all that is visible, it is to You we come to FORM and INFORM our prayer words.
Help us live in Your victorious will - by faith-filled- strength of silent trust. May we use our lips for power packed praying, not angry, ignorant hurtful sayings. Amen.
If He fights for us in our silence, it's wise to become more aware of the spiritual warfare being waged against us. Have found that often, we are verbally attacked, by those who intend no harm. We are all susceptible to becoming accidentally offensive. The solution I think, works for this, is to become more aware of the spiritual aspects of life on earth; to become more aware of our teacher and friend the Holy Spirit and what HE EXISTS TO DO FOR US!!!
"In our flesh we will offend, but in His Spirit, we can be a friend." a cindism, or caught thought from long ago!
