God is, always was and always will be. He is our only, necessary and fail proof certainty. He sent Jesus to earth to prove Him. He did, He does and always will prove the love of God. "For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16. I love this rendering of the Resurrected Jesus. He was, He is, He always will be. History is His story.
Father God of all that is good, of all hope, of all comfort, of all knowledge and truth it is to You we come to form and inform our prayers. We offer them to You with thanks that You know what we will say before we say it. That You hear our praises. You also hear and know our unbelief. We ask Your forgiveness, Your cleansing and our repenting, to typify our lives. Cause greater belief to relieve our unbelief. Please allow us this day to reach into the cold, darkness of those struggling to know You. Please give them the faith to believe You. Please break down their walls of fear, pride and unbelief. We especially ask this on behalf of family and friends we know to be ignoring the Holy Spirit. Please give them ears to hear what the Spirit has to say, and deafen them to competing voices. We love You Lord, and also want them not to perish. We pray peace to Israel, deliverance for the persecuted church and that today's butcher's might become tomorrow's believers. Thank You for Paul. In the matchless name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen.
