DON'T FIGHT GOD.

"He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters."

Luke 11:23

Saw Saul, God's chosen, more clearly in scripture today. Saw how Saul hid from the responsibility of leadership. Taller and more handsome than everyone, hailing from a powerful Jewish family and yet Saul chose to HIDE rather than accept God's chosen leadership position. Was Saul being insecure, afraid, rebellious, disobedient or something else entirely? Was Saul fighting God? Do we when we disobey? Behavior reflects beliefs.

Do we believe in God's way or our own way? Our actions prove where our faith "lies" or truly lives.

It's wise to take inventory or a behavior bath. Figuratively, soap up asking God, "am I rebellious by not taking the lead and procrastinating things? Am I abusing the blessings You give me daily? Am I engaged in my love life? Am I engaged in my church? Am I engaged in creating fun and joy for my wife, family and friends? Am I interested in them? What do I find interesting in others? What is my passion? IS THIS GOD'S DOING or mine?

He washes all my sin away, off me, gone. Repentance is the change we need that works!

"Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindess;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin." Psalm 51:1-2

Father of all that is good, all strength, all mercy, all truth, all blessing, teach us how to pray and persevere in faith. We seek to remain steadfast in You. Cause us to fight the good fight, fight off selfishness, prayerlessness, faithlessness and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Allow us to please You. Create in us, clean hearts. Build us, mold us and make us like Jesus. WE DON'T WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU. We want to be found faithful, prayerful and walking with You. We love You God. We ask peace to Israel in the magnificent name of Jesus, our Messiah. Amen.
