Fear God. Fear no impostors, illusions or lies…..

"The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether." Psalm 19:9 (by David)

"especially concerning the day you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said to me, 'Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.' Deuteronomy 4:10 (by Moses)

"that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statues and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged." Deuteronomy l6:2 (by Moses)

"Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king." 1 Peter 2:17 (by Peter)

"Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil." Ecclesiastes 11:13-14 (the very last verse of Ecclesiastes, written by Solomon when he was old, and looking back on life)

"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle - I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying - a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth." 1 Timothy 2:5-7 (by Timothy)

"For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things which we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:11-16 (by Paul, a Christian hater, terrorist, murderer and a Pharisee of a Pharisee, who actually saw Jesus, long after His crucifixion and was saved)

Jesus teaches the Fear of God in Luke chapter 12:4-7. The Bible teaches us all about what NOT to FEAR, by giving us many, "Fret nots," and "Fear Nots," throughout the old and new testaments. So when God says FEAR Him, this is not a suggestion. This is a life giving, life prolonging commandment, worthy of our obedient study and doing!!!

God help us learn to fear You rightly! In the matchless name of Jesus, Amen.
