Forming the HABIT of VICTORY

Virgin Birth, Descending Dove, Transfiguration, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension. These events describe only one Person, only one God, only one God man, only one Holy Spirit, only one Son of God, Jesus Christ. The Transfiguration is a miracle that happened to Jesus Himself. A voice came out of the cloud saying, "this is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. HEAR HIM!" Matthew 16: 5b. Imitators of Jesus, impersonators, false teachers, anti-christ philosophies and deception will run rampant in the last days. Power hungry liars will will roar and prowl throughout the earth in these last days. God's truth remains. Belief triumphs over unbelief. Faith the size of a mustard seed, moves mountains. We are power-FULL in Christ, filled with His power as we empty ourselves out, completely, dying to self. We become victory. We can behave, in habitual victory. We win in Him. He cannot fail. We can form the habit of victory, like Mary, Rahab, Ruth, Paul, Isaiah, Daniel, David and so many more…….

The"habit of victory." (from the writings of Charles Gore 1853) My prayer is, God, help us form the habit of victory as we encounter obstacles, challenges and temptations. Cause us to abide in Jesus. Amen.

We have no earthly excuse, NOT to listen to God. Supernatural events were a daily part of Jesus' earthly life. God gave us Jesus so that we might know HIM. Jesus reveals God. Jesus is the express image of God. Jesus is the living word. He speaks to us, clearly, through the pages of our Bibles, through prayer and daily life. Our hearts and minds, governed by our faithful spirits, are enabled to LISTEN and HEAR, GOD. I want to hear Him more and more. I want all other voices to fade away. Then I want muscular faith like Isaiah's faith so I might closely FOLLOW, TRUST and OBEY, GOD. I want to daily, walk by faith and NOT by sight. I want to HEAR HIM! Help us identify the scorching, roar of the lie.

Father in Heaven, cause us to HEAR You more clearly, LOVE You more dearly and FOLLOW You more nearly. In Jesus name and for His sake. Amen.
