Stop trying to tell God, what to give you!

An excerpt from Tozer on Christian Leadership January 5:
"Look on Him and let Him work, let Him alone." Get our hands down to our side and stop trying to tell God where to cut. Stop trying to make the diagnosis for God. Stop trying to tell God what to give you. He is the Physician! You are the patient… Let Him work and your spiritual life will begin to blaze like the rising sun. Lord, I'll try to stay out of Your way, take my hands off and let You work! Amen."

LORD, keep us from telling You what to do, in prayer. We are sorry for the many times we've asked You for things, that You do not want for us. Please remind us to ask You, to FORM and INFORM our prayers. Only You know what is best for us, what we need and what we really want! By Your grace, Your job description, is not even close to ours. You are God, and we are NOT. All ministry is Yours, and in You, our service, can be unlimited! We love and continually need You Father. No wonder You say in Your word the we should "pray without ceasing." Thanks for Your understanding, forgiveness. We're so grateful for Your divine patience. May we never shirk from prayer, and the sharing of Your love, in the matchless name of Your Son, our Messiah, Jesus. Amen.
