God has a reason….

Today, we confuse terms. Yesterday we confused terms. Today we have an advantage. We have God's Word and His Terms. Confusion comes when we FIRSTLY go to our own definitions of issues BEFORE prayerfully asking God to define our issues. We start in our own thoughts, foolishly, placing ourselves at a disadvantage. The Holy Spirit Himself awaits our askings and sometimes prompts them. I want to spend more time listening and trusting His terms than any other person's terms. His terms fit all. He's word is a perfect fit for everyone in the whole world. He gives us life, capacity for faith, freedom of thought, choice and action BECAUSE He wants us to freely, wholeheartedly, by grace in faith to become His. God's heart is for us, all of us in the whole world just by believing and receiving Jesus into our hearts. He awaits our asking Jesus to be King of our lives. We ask. He forgives and comes. We become His, forever.

Satan produces confusion often birthed in our thought lives. Satan promotes lies and is the Father of lies. Satan is our accuser. Accusations are from hell itself.

Observational fact is found on well lit paths of truth. Lies appear clearly in the light of truth. The presence of light and truth, protect, we His sheep from lying wolves, that we may not be fooled or have the wool pulled over our eyes!

Commonly misused, misunderstood and confused terms, which I am personally guilty of for sure.

judgment and discernment
judgment and opinion
judgment and sentencing
judgment and accusation

accusation and observational fact
accusation and confession

trust and understanding
wisdom and knowledge

listening and hearing
L I S T E N has the same exact letters as S I L E N T - a lesson in a word.

There are intellectual components and spiritual components to life. We are sheep. We have a King. He wants us to keep things simple, sincere and authentic. He wants us to be like Jesus, compassionate, loving and deeply others oriented.

We don't check our brains at the door when approaching Bible study or church. NO. We energetically pray, asking the Holy Spirit to open God's heart and mind to us, while God writes His word on our hearts and lives. This is what He does. We must invite and involve ourselves in the way He does things.

Oh, help us Lord, not to miss the greatness of salvation, that we hear You more clearly, love You more dearly and follow You more nearly. Amen.
