"But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is RIGHTLY judged by no one." 1 Corinthians 2:15a
"For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2
I don't vote for someone "just like me." I ask God who He wants for all of America, or all my state, or all of my city. I try to learn who they "appear to be," and what they "appear to represent." I try to find the person who most represents American values. Only recently did some moral issues become political footballs. Only recently did politics descend into the politics of utter division and destruction. Only recently the politics of destruction have become character assassination. Politically judging someone's faith has become a voter's litmus test. Only Jesus has our best in mind and He's not running, but He is making the way for one person. He's working a much greater plan for all the world. I pray we Christians represent Him and worry less about about which politician is "just like us." What Judge Roberts and many others have proven, is that they're just like us, until they're not…….Jesus, thanks for Your grace and mercy. Father, Please let us see You work in our election. Please hear our prayers for all the candidates, that they all know, believe and follow You. Then, guide our votes. Protect the process from any more fraud than we've already seen with dirty tricks and attack dog tactics by slick talking candidates, currently "serving." Thanks for the non-politician-candidates currently surviving the process. It's in You we trust. Thank You for NOT YET giving America, what we've come to deserve. I leave judging one another's faith in Your hands. Amen.
