"impass" and "stillness"

"I work and who will reverse it?" Isaiah 43:13d
"I will do a new thing" Isaiah 43:19a
"I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert" Isaiah 43:d
He is the Way and the Way Maker, "who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters" Isaiah 43:16

He speaks to us from the pages of our Bibles, from His heart to our hearts, writing it on our minds and lives. Let us not settle for anyone else's words. May we long to hear our Father for good, for instruction, for warning, for direction, redirection and correction. He makes a Way, where there is no way. He does new things. He makes the impassible possible even designing pathways through the mighty waters. Many of us are in an impass, or an impossible place to move out of, right this moment. We trust He has gone before us, choosing even our placements in "impass", or "stillness"-

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts."
Isaiah 55:8-9

Help us see "life moves" and "way making" as You are doing them. Cause us to know You more and Your way making, as You hold us still. May we glory in the stillness. Hold us still so that we will not become roadblocks. Teach us how to grow in the "still" times while we still have time. Amen.
