Knocking on the door of the CHURCH, let them have an ear…Revelation 3:20

Noted this in a Bible study at our house and in a Sunday morning message from Pastor Brian.

That "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the CHURCHES." Revelation 3:20 Matthew 7:7 says another thing, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."
What we see in Revelation 3:20 is Jesus knocking on the door of the church! Has church by this time, organized Him out, possibly divided over something like, politics, to the point of ignoring His instructions to trust only in Him, and not in a politician or an inferior king?  So sobering and such ample, food for thought and prayer.
I think Satan is very busy right now, trying to dissuade believers from attending church and seeking to divide God's kids, from within churches. He's seeking to rob, steal and destroy faith from all parts of the earth. He's a loser. Most importantly, we must faithfully encourage and remind each other, that we either believe, follow and imitate our King, or we don't.
We can make either, divisionary statements or devotionary statements, which will show where our trust lies, in princes or in the KING! Our pastors and we ourselves must be wary of nurturing diversionary thoughts and words. We don't select our leaders. God does. We only vote and in some countries, that's not yet allowed. God is in charge and wants no one to perish, John 3:16 -17. We need the devotion-ary statements, don't we? All leaders need prayer, relentless prayer.
So, I go to the middle verses of the Bible, "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes." Psalm 118:8-9.
Now CHURCH, may we just DO IT. BELIEVE and WALK in confidence that our KING REIGNS and He's bringing all things to pass, and likely not in ways we currently can know. Thank You Jesus for Your plan for the ages, and the greatness of salvation. We pray for our pastors and leaders to follow You, trusting only You and not in their own opinions or themselves. May all of us, entrust our churches, thoughts and words entirely to You, that UNBELIEVERS may see, and come to YOUR saving heart, in massive numbers, during these globally, turbulent, political times. Amen.
