SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER PONDERINGS.....

ASKING AMISS...how do we do that? I don't know, but I DO know that GOD'S QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERS, as in, Job chapters 38-40. "God help us NOT MISS the PRAYER TARGETS before, and in us!" Amen.

"Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures." James 4:2-3. "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." Matthew 11:1. Then Jesus prayed the Lord's prayer, which ends, "But deliver us from the evil one." The battle is real. The weapons are spiritual, so we fight in prayer, a weaponized prayer, regularly, asking Him to form and inform each prayer. However, we all like to pray all kinds of prayers. Sometimes we simply pray, short "arrow" prayers targeting God's merciful heart! My shortest prayer, is, "Help!"

It's strengthening and humbling, that our Heavenly Father knows we, don't know how to pray as we might, even though, we've been praying, for a lifetime! HE HEARS OUR EVERY OFFERING. I believe He wants us to enjoy the abundance of salvation, and not pray, MISSING THE POWER, HE WIELDS! Maybe that is part of, NOT praying amiss! During a time of testing, my dad once told me, "Cindy, just for now we are spiritual beings having a human experience." Eternal perspectives, are the greater reality. Knowing God, is also knowing, the power and potency of prayer.
Eternal perspectives make the things of earth, grow strangely dim!

God make us a lively group of prayer-full people, not a burdened, beaten, sickened group, weighted down by enemy targeting! If we are on the bed of illness, hear our prayers roar against unbelief. If we are torn apart by sadness, hear our prayers thunder against self pity. If we are downhearted with frustration, hear our prayers which cry out for forgiveness; that we might repent and reinvent, frustration into spiritual fruitfulness. In these dark days, allow us to be AUTHENTIC lights and to feed on Your faithfulness. We offer these prayers the name of Jesus. Amen.
