God doesn't drive parked cars !

God does not drive 'parked' cars !  Stuck ?  Time to move on !  Get in the flow of the Holy Spirit's
leadings.  Move out of your 'stuckness' and into the WORD of God !  God's word, grows us, shows
us many things and begins a great 'glow' in us !

Sometimes God parks cars.  Sometimes He parks them on the ferry called 'FAITH'.  Sometimes He ferries us under broken bridges, damaging floods and oceans of tears on the good ferry, 'FAITH'.

God does not drive parked cars.  Sometimes He parks cars.  God's roadmaps are in the Bible.  Every parking space, free-way on ramp and off ramp are marked and noticed by Him.  He is the driver and we are the passengers.  When we veer away from His directions we drive into our own consequences.  Before He drives our moving cars we need only ask Him where He wants us to go, when He wants us to go and what He wants us to do when we arrive.  Otherwise, we are unwise !  Sometimes we cannot see - the proper sequence of events !  Always He awaits us to ask Him what His plan is !  How often do we rush right in, start the car and take off on our daily plans, find ourselves 'parked' and wondering what does God want us to do now ?  What is His sequence - how can we SEE His 'see'-quential plans for things ?  One way for sure, through the eyes of scripture we can see His will, His way, His timing and go along with that - or we can skip the scriptures and enter into our own sequence of events in the sight of His watchful eyes !  Surely we can tell the difference between our own wills and His - then we can choose, His way or my way, Yahweh or My way ! ?  Not choosing is parked thinking.  Not choosing
is stalled thinking.  Not choosing avoids movement.  Not choosing stops forward motion.  Not choosing
builds fear.  Choosing to wait is a choice.  Choosing by fear is unfaithful.  Choosing to please Him is
step one.  Choosing to let God be in the driver's seat is step two.  God wrote all the maps, designed all
the pathways and He alone knows what stops are FOR us along the way, and what stops will work
AGAINST us along our daily paths.  God is better than Onstar !  Creator and hanger of all the stars and
lover of our souls ! So choosing to read your BIBLE is a third step along with asking the Holy Spirit
to lead the way through the word.  He will lead you.  Just ask and receive His guidance.  Just ask.
Open your Bible and read until you hear Him speak to you through something there.  His word speaks.
You'll hear it in your heart and mind as you read !  It's wonderful !  Just you and Him !  Awesome !

Rest assured that God is also the Designer of our Detours !  Remember, failure is our Teacher and pride
is our Roadblock to learning.  Embrace the detour holding onto His promises in faith and wisdom.  Know He's gone before it all and has you right where you are for His reasons - don't miss His reasons,
just ask Him what they are !  You can't get where you're going until you you've been where you were !
Remember, yesterday is so yesterday !  Consequences are for sure - and designed to do many things
all of which only God knows and only God is waiting to take you through - you are never alone in
consequences - He is always with you and will not forsake you because you believe...you are born again, and believers are not perfect, but are forgiven.  Live today.  Don't live in yesterday.  Operate
in His loving word and He will do the driving, leading, the feeding and the burden bearing.  Sheep
are not burden bearing animals.

Basically, here's my issue today - the word Bible - people say - stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth - - B I B L E .   Yes and amen.  I also like what my mother said she would name the BIBLE if asked - CHOICES.  Both descriptions work for me.

I give thanks for all we need is in scripture.  Jesus is all sufficient and beyond all we could ask for or need.  He is the living word.  He is the answer.  He is the amen.  He is God !   So church, let's let
God do the driving, go by His maps and walk through the world in His partnering presence - God
with us - Immanuel.   Ask Him to lead through all your Bible readings always and enjoy Him !

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,  to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever Amen.  Ephesians 3:20
