Times of Peril can make us Sterile, Fruitless, Sin-bathed Backsliders or NOT!!!

"But I know that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

AND FROM SUCH PEOPLE TURN AWAY!"
2 Timothy 3:1-5

If we can say any of the above terms describe us, we have become peril-US,  we've become danger-US  to our own spiritual health (and to the spiritual health of others near to us) because we are sinning and to be avoided.  Yes times are tough, but not as tough as crucifixion. Seems we are graciously being pressed into the image of Christ with every evil day's pressures. What to do? Respond as He did and follow His word, His way and worship Him all day. Bathe in selfish sin, or battledress with Him.

HOW TO PUSH RESTART - Decide to Battledress with Him.
Pray Psalm 51.
Read Jeremiah 17 aloud, freeing your heart and appetite.
Do 2 Timothy chapter 2.
See 2 Timothy chapter 3 as warnings to make adjustments; that you will be made complete and equipped to: "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. … 2 Timothy 4:2-5

God of second chances, forgiver, restorer, renewer, rebuilder, the only ONE who is ABLE to do exceedingly above what we could ask or think, it is to You we come to form and inform this prayer.

We give YOU thanks, in the matchless name of Jesus, for the ability to repent, receive MUCH NEEDED forgiveness and to live SAVED. We humbly thank You for Your boundless grace, mercy and understanding. We seek to be people who are inviting, not wanting to be those who are to be avoided. Now, may Your word be lived out of our hearts, minds and right into our daily walks with You. We survive and thrive abiding in Your word. Please grow us in spirit as never before. Allow the enemy no more sway with us during these evil days. Allow us to glorify You even when we are horrified with daily news reports of current events. We want to bless You oh God. We love You LORD. It is in You we place our trust, never in we ourselves. Remove our selfishness and replace it with overflowing grace, peace and love. Please keep Israel safe. Amen.
