Word Wrangling, don't do it.

"Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer." 2 Timothy 2:14-17

Think before you speak. Pray before you decide to speak. Deliver edifying words or stay silent.

Help us oh God to think, pray and then speak to glorify, build and encourage the listener. Keep us from slander. That the listener might hear You, through our well prepared words. Forgive the countless, thoughtless, instantaneously spoken, opinionated words we so often deliver.  You deserve bette as does our listeners. Clarify our message that it will build up, lift and heal rather than do damage. Thanks God. Amen.
